Departmental Student Forum of CSE(AIML) & IT

AURON is the official student-driven hub for the Department of Computer Science & Engineering (AI & ML) and Information Technology. Managed by students for the entire campus, AURON serves as a dynamic platform for holistic development—giving equal weight to technical excellence, cultural & artistic expression, sports, and leadership & communication skills.

Forum Objectives

1. Knowledge Exchange & Communication

Facilitate open discussions, project showcases, and interactive talks that build confident public speaking, articulation, and effective technical communication among students.

1. Practical Skill-Building & Technical Workshops

Organize hands-on bootcamps in machine learning, cloud engineering, and full-stack coding, alongside essential training in resume writing, design thinking, and interpersonal skills.

1. Student Leadership & Event Management

Empower students with real-world experience in team leadership, project coordination, event management, and decision-making by placing them at the helm of departmental operations.

1. Networking, Mentorship & Collaboration

Build a close-knit departmental community connecting students across all years with alumni, industry leaders, and researchers for career guidance and collaborative growth.

1. Hackathons & Real-World Problem Solving

Form cross-functional student teams to turn innovative ideas into working prototypes and compete in major national platforms like the Smart India Hackathon (SIH).

Provide a vibrant platform for students to showcase their talents in dance, singing, music performance, and fine arts, fostering creative confidence and artistic expression.

Promote team spirit, strategic thinking, and physical endurance through competitive outdoor sports tournaments, athletics, esports, and LAN gaming events.
