Dear Students, Faculty, Staff, and Visitors,

I am pleased to welcome you all to the Department Of Emerging Technologies and I extend my warmest greetings to you all. True to our name, we represent the cutting edge of the 21st century. With specialized branches of CSE in Artificial Intelligence and  Machine Learning & Data Science, we are dedicated to continually enhancing the skill sets of our students. Through carefully designed programs and practical experiences, we ensure that our students are well-prepared to excel in their prospective professional journeys. At our department, we strive to integrate quality education with a focus on upcoming technologies, essential for placing competent students in the IT industry. Providing guidance and support, we aim to shape our students for success. But when we talk about education it also comprises extracurricular activities so, beyond academics, we recognized the importance of extracurricular activities in building confidence and preparing students for a bright future. Our department hosts frequent events such as “ACM-ICPC and Smart India Hackathon” that contribute to our integrated development program. In conclusion, we also focus on nurturing students socially. I emphasize my role in transforming students into both technically and socially competent individuals, ready to open doors to success and a promising future. I invite all of you to collaborate with us in shaping tomorrow’s world with today’s youth. They will lead us to technological advancements to the greatest extent.

Engineering Graduate will be able to:

  1. Engineering knowledge:

    Apply the knowledge of mathematics, science, engineering fundamentals, and an engineering specialization to the solution of complex engineering problems.

  2. Problem analysis:

    Identify, formulate, review research literature, and analyze complex engineering problems reaching substantiated conclusions using first principles of mathematics, natural sciences, and engineering sciences

  3. Design/development of solutions:

    Design solutions for complex engineering problems and design system components or processes that meet the specified needs with appropriate consideration for the public health and safety, and the cultural, societal, and environmental considerations.

  4. Conduct investigations of complex problems:

    Use research-based knowledge and research methods including design of experiments, analysis and interpretation of data, and synthesis of the information to provide valid conclusions.

  5. Modern tool usage:

    Create, select, and apply appropriate techniques, resources, and modern engineering and IT tools including prediction and modeling to complex engineering activities with an understanding of the limitations.

  6. The engineer and society:

    Apply reasoning informed by the contextual knowledge to assess societal, health, safety, legal and cultural issues and the consequent responsibilities relevant to the professional engineering practice.

  7. Environment and sustainability:

    Understand the impact of the professional engineering solutions in societal and environmental contexts, and demonstrate the knowledge of, and the need for sustainable development.

    Apply ethical principles and commit to professional ethics and responsibilities and norms of the engineering practice.
