Greetings from the Training & Placement Department!
It’s great to be young! But it’s greater still to be young in India, especially if you have the right skillsets
and aptitude. This is because there’s a huge demand in India and abroad for young people with the right
tech skills to drive the exponential growth witnessed in all sectors as operations shift to digital mode.
In this changing scenario, it is just not enough for T-Schools to churn out engineering graduates but to
groom future technocrats with the right skillsets to meet this growing demand. In this regard, we at S B
Jain have embedded the training component in our regular syllabus and have started preparing our
students right from the first semester. Academic as well as co-curricular programs that develop skills per
industry needs are implemented in all semesters in tandem with the T&P department.
On the Placement front, S B Jain T&P Department has a wide industry connect with blue-chip companies
like TCS, Wipro, Capgemini, and Cybage besides a host of mid/ small-cap and start-ups that recruit and
provide a platform to the students.
Equal opportunities are provided to all branches with a major chunk being recruited by IT, ITES
companies who are not branch-specific and hire students from Mechanical, Electrical and Electronics &
Telecommunication branches besides CS and IT. From the core sector, companies like Triveni Turbines,
Asahi Glass, Pix Transmission to name a few hire our students.
