Electrical Department organized Project Exhibition

PROJECT EXHIBITION was organized by the Department of Electrical Engineering on 2nd April, 2018 .The exhibition was organized for VIth and IVth Semester students which witnessed the participation of 144 students. The main objective of this exhibition was to provide the knowledge of the projects to VI semester.

The project exhibition was successfully arranged by project Co-ordinator Dr. ChandrakantRathore under the supervision of Dr. P.B.Thote (HoD EE).The project exhibition witnessed the presence of Prof. Sanjeev Agarwal, Institute CEO, Dr. S.L.Badjate Principal, along with the faculty and staff members of Department of Electrical, SBJITMR.

The areas of final year projects are mentioned below:

  1. Solar tracking system
  2. Synchronizing relay
  3. Experimental module photo-voltaic system
  4. Numerical relay for Transmission line system
  5. FACTS devices
  6. Smart energy meter and many more

Electrical Engineering Department of SBJITMR organized Expert Talk by “Dr.D.P.Kothari Sir”

Electrical Engineering Department of S.B.Jain Institute of Technology Management & Research has organized an expert talk on “Performance of Composite Power System” for final Year Student.

The seminar was conducted by renowned Professor in the electrical engineering domain “Dr.D.P.Kothari Sir FNAE, FNASc, Fellow- IEEE, LMISTE and Hon. Fellow- ISTE.”.

Dr. D.P. Kothari Sir enlightened final year student on the topic “Performance of Composite Power System”.Sir also share his experience and expertise on load flow analysis and discussed about their career prospective in the field of Electrical Engineering.

Prof. Saurabh Kamble, Prof .Amarjeet Pandey co-ordinated the seminar under the valuable guidance of Dr. P.B. Thote, Head, Electrical Engineering.

Electrical Engineering Department of SBJITMR organized Expert Talk by “Er.Sanjay Kashikar”

Electrical Engineering Department of S.B.Jain Institute of Technology Management & Research has organized expert talk on “General philosophy of Power System Protection” for final year Student.

The lecture was conducted by Mr. Sanjay Kashikar, Rtd. Deputy Chief Engineer, MSPGCL – Koradi, Nagpur which currently held the responsibility of faculty at Koradi Training Centre. .

This was organized for students to get practical approach about Power System Protection and share his experience and expertise on real problem facing by electrical engineers and their probable solution in power grid.

Mr. Sanjay Kashikar is Ad-junct faculty in Electrical Engineering Department.

Prof.Anirudha Marothiya, Prof .Amarjeet Pandey co-ordinated the seminar under the valuable guidance of Dr. P.B. Thote, Head, Electrical Engineering.

S.B.J.I.T.M.R, IEEE-Power & Energy Society Student Chapter organizes Workshop

A Workshop on “Solar Panel Manufacturing and overview of Solar Industry” in association with IEEE PES chapter of S.B.J.I.T.M.R. and  NPO solar water Green Project, Japan, in association with GIO-GIS Technologies LLP.  was organized for IVth and VIth Semester student by Electrical Engineering Department of S.B.Jain Institute of Technology Management & Research.

The experts in this field were from Japan Mr. Toshio Tajima & Miss. Enomoto Hitomi and the other two experts Prof. Shashank Wadekar & Prof. Chetan Raut conducted the workshop in which the students learnt about manual method of solar panel manufacturing. The students were also introduced to its Industrial prospects and discussed about the opportunities of Solar in Japan.

This workshop included hands on practice session where the students have indulged into the various activities of solar panel and LED light manufacturing. Thus, the students were maximum benefitted with the conduction of the workshop and it will be definitely helpful for them.

Dr. Chandrakant Rathore, Mr.Vishant G.Naik and the IEEE-Power& Energy Society Student successfully organized the workshop under the valuable guidance of Dr. P.B. Thote, Head Electrical Engineering. The Secretary of the Trust Shri. Anuj S. Badjate, CEO Prof.Sanjeev Agrawal, Principal Dr. S. L. Badjate and Prof. P.B. Thote, Head, Electrical Engineering congratulated all the students on their achievement and wished them great success for their future endeavour.
